2000 gt tach installation?

Do any of you guys know how to install a tach/w shift light in a 2000 gt...I used to have a 93 5.0 and it was a cake walk, but I'm lost on the 4.6 liter...

Pretty sure you'll need a tach adapter. If you are just wanting a shift light I suggest checking out the raptor shift lights http://www.raptorperformance.com/
