I have a 2000 Mustang V6 and my friend is about to by Sentra SER (not the Spec-V) Auto. My mustang is an Auto and im curious as to who would win in a race. Only mods are a CAI on my Mustang and the SER would be Stock... who would win off the line... quarter mile? Average Winner?

thanks alot.

you would take him off the line with more tourqe, then at higher speeds cause they are geared low to use all the miniscule tourqe that they have, 165 horse and 175 pounds, you should be able to take him all the way!

Hrm it'd be close.

Remember, his car is going to be lighter than yours by about 300 lbs.

You could take him off the line, but there'd be some close moments I think. Those SE-Rs are quick, had I not gotten my mustang I would have gotten one of them.

It'd be a close race, I'd like the see the results.

My friend is getting a SE-R Spec-V, and he'll prolly be able to edge me out due to the extra 10 hp and the fact since I have a vert its 600 lbs more than his car.

Not to brag, but I've a few SE-R's myself pretty easily, even before I got the bolt-ons that I have. You should have no problem with it.

P.S.- I finally made senior member.

i have a stock 04 v6, and my friend has an 03 spec-v w/ a short shift and cai. i beat him, but he made it close at the end. i beat him off the line and edged him out by about 1/2 car length. we r gonna race again when i get my cai and steeda tri-ax.

so, u should have NO problem. good luck.
