Hello, I was installing a short throw shifter in my mustang when i came across a plug in into nothing. After some research i discovered that traction control was a option for my year and still is. This is where there is a button to turn it off and on if you get it as an option. Do you think that if i got a button off ebay then i would be able to turn traction control on and off. Thanks. I have attatched some pics to explain in more detail.

It should take more then the button- iirc, the T/C works off the ABS sensors to tell when a wheel is slipping. since they were a package, no sensors = no trac working.

I don't think that's the TCS button anyway.

In 99-00, there were different ABS units for the TCS vs those without like previously said.

It's more complicated than adding a button

I think the fog light switch is square, not flat. maybe it's TC.

Weird that it has five conductors! Most of those have two for the function on/off and two for illumination. Maybe the switch had an indicator light...
