Since this is my first Mustang (Bought with 59K miles, currently 64K) Im not sure what exactly is normal behavior for the transmission..
My concern is the transmission just feels sluggish going through gear changes as if the tranny fluid is molasses (sort of speak), for example if I push the clutch in I cant just throw it in gear real quick ,instead it takes a little bit if force and time before going in gear. Ive read a lot about people disliking T45's (which I'm assuming I have) but is there a better tranny fluid I can try to improve responsiveness? Im not even sure when or if the fluid has ever been changed.
In comparison my 95 Saturn 5speed can be shifted much faster ,the shifter moves through the gears without any resistance or sluggishness (and it has 147k miles.)
Thanks.
