2001 Cobra aluminum drive shaft

Anyone with information concerning an aluminum drives shaft for a 2001 Cobra with the stock transmission would be greatly appreciated. Ford Racing does not seem to offer the correct size, and other companies say the same. I am trying to avoid the expense of a carbon fiber shaft which is not a problem to find. Thank you very much.

You can get the FRPP alum driveshaft to work with slight modification (have it shortened and balanced at a local drivetrain shop). Price should still come out to be quite less than the cost of a carbon fiber driveshaft. Many 01 owners have done this in the past...

i used stock gt driveshaft in my car with an irs and never had any issues.
