2001 GT stuck in 2nd

Receiving all these codes on 01 gt
Recently bought previous owner said he turned tune off. Gave me the bama scanner and hand held tuner. I can get up to 50-60 between 4-5,000 rpm can go in reverse took to trans shop they said more of a electrical issue :
I’ve Replaced Silonoid A&b plus internal wire harness so far and codes still there with o/d light flashing. Any suggestions ?

That collection of codes indicates a common electrical failure, not simultaneous failure of every solenoid.

Check the transmission/PCM fuses with a test light on both sides, then verify key-on power and terminal condition at the main transmission case connector.

Inspect the external harness between the transmission and PCM for damage, corrosion, or backed-out pins.


P1000 only means the monitors have not completed. P0602 indicates a PCM programming/configuration issue and may be related to the Bama tune, but first establish whether the transmission solenoids actually have power. The car is in failsafe second gear because the PCM cannot electrically control the transmission.
