I recently bought a 2001 Mustang GT convertible. It only has a little over 20,000 miles on it. It was originally built by Air Ride Technologies for the 2002 SEMA car show. The car has a Vortec 2.0 supercharger, JBA Cat4ward headers, performance mufflers, Air Ride suspension, short throw shifter, Baer brakes, and a host of other custom items. I am admittedly ignorant about the inner workings of a performance car. The engine does not have any performance enhancements other than the supercharger. I was wondering if a tune would enhance overall performance and maybe provide a little horsepower boost. Could someone give me some advice in this area? By the way, I was told the car is making around 350 real horsepower, whatever "real" means.

I bought the car from a friend whose father bought it for his son (father's grandson) who is just learning to drive. My friend said no way is his 16 year son going to have the car. So, I bought if for 10 grand. Also wondering if that is a good price. I have had some doubts after initially getting excited over the car. The car is in near mint condition by the way, with a custom paint job.
