2001 t5 in my 91 fox

I am going to be swapping a T5 from a 2001 Mustang v6 into my 91 fox. I know I need to swap the input shafts, but I was wondering what I should do for the tailshaft housing? the 99-04 T5's have the electric speedo and does not look like I can put my mechanical cable in the 2001 T5's VSS location. Is there some instructions to convert the 2001 T5 to a mechanical speedo without switching tailshaft housings? The T5 from my fox now is out of an 89. I know you can use the 92-up tail housings but wondering if there were other methods. Thanks!

I agree, after more searching i found there is no way but to replace the tailshaft housing with a 92-98matxh t5 housing and the tailshaft would have to be drilled or scored for the new speedo gear to be attached. Just picked up a 88 t5 for a good price, will sell 01 t5. Thanks
