Yea I am a turbocharger guy, turbocharged every mustang I owned except the 97 Cobra.

I just think it is a waste of effort to turbocharge the V6. I KNOW it will blow, especially the way they all drive the car.

Maybe nitrous, for track use only, I would trust that.

It is a 94 V6 but still has the COIL pack type of iginition... is this normal?

The ONLY V6 I have EVER played around with was the old type 3.8 in T-Birds and Cougars.

Yes coil pack is normal, If you've played with the old 3.8 Tbird engines, why not swap in a supercoupe engine with the blower. You'll have some fun with that.

Go To

http://www.supersixmotorsports.com/

They have some of the best mods for a V6 mustang. I was going to go with the stage 2 from them for my '00 V6 but I ended up buying a '04 GT instead

Check them out they have some very good stuff.

I know with the stock internals on a 99+ I wouldnt recommend anything more than 8psi of boost. Anything more than that and you are asking for troulbe.

I know a couple guys that have turbocharged v6's that run 10psi constantly. maybe about 5-6 on the street. They've put several thousand miles on their cars and they're still running great. So I don't know about the "blowing the engine" deal. Then again, their cars aren't something they have thrown together for a "beater" either

Im just saying that with the POS Stock Pistons, you are asking for trouble with anything more than 8psi.

This car is gonna be beaten on HARD by everyone who drives it. Its a "loaner" to anyone who needs it around the shop basically.

So it has to be "safe".

Ah ok I gotcha. Might not be too good of an idea to loan out an all out performance car
