Do you plan to do all the install work yourself?

If so this is what I would go with.

MPH 302 CI Stroker Long Block
http://modularpowerhouse.com/produc...d=112&osCsid=87ea37ea79a702298fb6e33e39038db6

MPH Mongoose Novi 2000 Kit
http://modularpowerhouse.com/produc...d=122&osCsid=87ea37ea79a702298fb6e33e39038db6

Easily 600+ whp

fully forged internals, new block (either iron or aluminum will be fine), ported heads and blower cams, then add either the kenne bell 2.2L or paxton novi 2k. if you want more the new twin turbo from MPH has been a monster.

with the engine out of way its time to think new tranny, either AODE automatic, or T56. then aluminum driveshaft and loop, eaton posi and 31spline axles... possibly 33spline.

dont forget to get suspension done too.. but you get the idea

Your block will handle the power. The internals need to be upgraded, head work, springs and cams for SC.

Check my mods. And you can't do it for $15,000.

If you have to ask, then you don't need to be building a 600 HP anything.

Just do like the rest of the bolt on boys do, that is, get out your checkbook and pay someone else to do it.

And if you pay $15,000+ for only 600 horses, well.... that's pretty dumb. But what else do you expect from the 4.6 crowd? "Check it out guys, I just paid $1,000 for this shiny new part! It only gave me 6 HP but look, it's billet, and shiny, and.. well, it's really shiny!" .. "Wowwwwww, nice!"

Better sink a few bucks into upgrading your fuel system while you're at it.

I'd recommend modular powerhouse b/c when customer service matters you don't want to settle for second.

Sounds like you're talking about the Bullitt intake! About $1000, shiny and worth about 6hp! Still a well respected part compared to the plastic manifold, I just thought you did a perfect job describing it.

one of those dss long blocks combined with a twin turbo kit....... it will be more than enough (900 hp) ball park area. its all about the tune so at that point so you will need a top notch engine engine management system.

It's worth 25 or 30 rwhp on a blown application.
