Hi guys i have a 2003 GT with a Vortech supercharger kit with the aftercooler kit running at about 9-10psi. I want to upgrade it a little bit, my goal for this winter is to upgrade the exhaust system to a full 3inchs system with the best headers i can have, i want to know what brand of headers are the best. I know some company make tuned headers, but i don't kinow if they are avaible for the mustang. i want to put around 15psi on the blower with a water/alcool injection kit and dry ice in the cooling system. So the main question is does some of you guys have already run a similar setup and what HP torque are you putting down, and does the stock engine old with the water injection and the aftercooler? and what headers are you recomanding me thanx!

if you've got money, Kook's are top quality headers and a big plus is you dont have to remove them to change the clutch, but their price reflects that ($900+). SLP makes a great set as well and are cheaper ($700), and BBK is probably best bang for the buck, about $475-500 for the ceramic coated LT's. $400 for chrome.

Dude if you willing to tag that much boost on your car backup your engine first. Most people want to go the cheap route. I dont blame ya. But why take the risk?? Get your bottom end built. otherwise its just too much of a gamble. That's just my .02 cents.. Your gunna do what you wanna do in the longrun.

!!!15PSI on stock internal??!!!

As far as header goes, I was told that on Supercharged car, it really makes no difference between LT and shorty, as in forced car, primaly thing is just get the exhaust as fast as possible. I would go with JBA or FRPP even.
DBMSTNG I think have S/C and using shortie, and i think he makes almost as much power as LT header S/C

DO NOT GO TO 3" PIPING!!!!

you'll lose power. 2 1/2" is plenty.

I don't agree. I recently put on LT's and gained 15hp and 12 torque. I have never seen shorties produce power like that. Just my experience may not be typical.

at 15 psi + stock internals = KABOOM!!!!! then this will be your face after

As far as headers go i think that your best bet would be either equal length shorties or LT's and dont do with 3" just go with 2.5" piping for the exhaust

Yep, that's what I've got on my car. They cost me a mint, but they sure are sexy. Haven't seen a nicer header yet.
