Well here is the deal:

My stupid ass of course had to look online to see what 2003 10th ann cobras were out there.

I went to one site and found a Torch Red one. This all of course AFTER I drop my 2001 off at Kenny Brown for some more suspension work.

I get talking with the sales lady and she says 1500 off on it...I was like WTF that suxs its a left over. We got a little confused and then got it figured out that she meant 1500 off invoice.

So the price they want is 31,798.

Is that good?

She did not know what they would give me for my 2001 Lightning and I never mentioned my 2001 Cobra.

Damn damn damn, I love those wheels and so easy to make power with them.

My 01 cobra is in for jacking rails and extreme matrix brace and IRS brace with aluminum bushings and I might have them do a shift light and lower front brace as well as I might get a new strut bar sicne they said mine that was on it from the previous owner is like a 98 style bar or something and then I was also thinking about the rear steer kit...which I would not want done if I get rid of it obviously.

I got mine Sept 2003 for $31,100. X-plan plus $2000 Cash back ($1500 Cash back + $500 Cash back for using X-plan pin #) W/O the cash back that was being offered back then its hard to get them down on price.

I would think UNDER $30,500 would be more like it though. Especially considering the car is soon to be two years old (model years anyway)

I got an e-mail from them and I sent one back saying due to my schedule it will be hard to get in, which it is, although i did go by after closing and look at it. I said my 2001 cobra was just dropped off at kenny brown so if this was to happen it would have to happen quick (I will end up with $1700 worth of work at KB amazing how things add up so quick does not seem like I am getting much, went it for 450 worth of work).

So I said I would consider 29k out the door.

No response yet but of course its a non work day for a dealer.
