I have not seen '04 numbers yet.....here they are directly from Saleen:



We manufactured a total of 380 Saleen S281's in the 2004 model year. Of this number, 185 were convertibles.

Send an email to Liz at TeamSaleen@Saleen.com and ask her for a LOA.

Include your name, addy, and last 6 of the VIN in your email.

When you get your LOA, it will have the info you are looking for.

Then you need to visit the Saleen Club of America website, then join

Letter of Authenticity.

It will give you the build date, shipping date and original dealership in which your Saleen was first sold too

It will show your factory options as well as the total number of Saleens built that year and how many had your exact options. Hence people say they have 1 of 1 with those options.
