Safety? There's nothing about safety in what they do, doing 70 in 55 is not "unsafe" but a ticket for 15 over sure makes some nice revenue. Its not the speed that causes accidents its the stupid laws that let you get a drivers license without having to go to a driving school. Its the asian lady at the DMV that can hardly speak engrish that is giving you the driving test! 16 year olds that get tought how to drive by their nice soccer mom are never going to have the proper driving instruction as an 18 year old that goes to driving school for 3 months in europe! Look at germany for example, most of the german highway has no speed limit, meanwhile germany has less accidents per capita than the US does.
