2005 Progress Review

Looking back at 2005, I think I got a lot done considering all the other obligations and distractions of life. Took the back of the car from the first picture to the second picture, assembled the motor, and scrounged together a complete 4 wheel disk brake system. Time to set some goals for 2006!!! Any thoughts?

NIIII-IIICE! :nice: Lotta work on the backside of the car, and it looks pretty doggone good in the "after" picture. And do I see a somewhat "massaged" Cleveland?

I'd say:
1.) Finish the body/paint work.
2.) Better than new suspension
3.) Hang the brakes on all four corners.
4.) slide the engine/tranny in there.
5.) Enjoy the summer (you oughta be able to get all that done by May, late June 2006 at the latest) :p

The Cleveland has a few mods--Aussie heads, ported & polished heads and intake, Comp 280 cam, Roller rockers, Edelbrock manifold, etc.

Summer 2006? Wow, can you schedule that garage time with my wife for me??? I ran the idea of having it together for the Knott's show by her yesterday--of course it was Knott's 2007!!! She replied "well maybe, but that would be a stretch".

With the stuff I still need to pull together I think Knotts '07 is do-able. I still need to resolve getting a Tremec, rack & pinion, A/C setup, wheels & tires, and I am sure lots of other expensive goodies. Then of course there is just that small detail of painting and putting it together.
