I have read a bunch of threads from the different mustang forums and it seems that it really doesn't matter what cai you get i.e. the cheapest. As long as you do a computer chip re-tune you get the results. So, if this is true what is the absolute cheapest way to get 20+ rwhp? How about a $50. K&n and a re-tune?

you can do the $50 drop in K&N filter and retune, but you will not see as big of a gain as with other CAIs. the results all vary with each tune and CAI combo. if you wanted to go as cheap as possible the K&N drop in would be it. more than likely, you would have to get a custom tune from a local dyno tuner. by the time you do that, you will have spent as much as with any other CAI combo.
