no, but it could possibly be a package offered by a dealer. More than likely it is just something the car owner put together on their own.

Not factory but I like it. I haven't added up the cost but I think you could do it a bit cheaper yourself.

There is maybe $4k in parts on that car. Looks nice, but where are the rear window slats!?

finally looked at the pics. pretty poor mach 1 package. they didn't even bother to put on mach 1 rims. other than that it's ok i guess. i'd say if you're interrested in something like that just build your own. you'll come out better looking and cheaper.

Lol i recognized the car is in Houston by the radio station. Lone Star Ford makes those "Mach 1"s. Nice looking cars but nothing more then dealer specials (on the pricey side). That's the famous dealer that wanted 150K for a Super Snake IIRC.

And I agree with newskool the car needed Magnum 500 wheels for that taste of authenticity.

It does not look like a dealer or factory package to me. It is just a collection of stuff he has added to an otherwise stock GT in MY OPINION.

But I emailed the guy and asked him about it, I am curious what the answer will be.

EDIT:

Dear benforauctions,

Is this a factory Mach 1 package, a dealer Package, or is this just stuff you added to to an otherwise stock Premium GT?

Thnx for your time,
Casey4s

And the answer is....

Dear casey4s,

This is a converter package similar to a shelby package which includes all of the items listed in the ebay ad-- a fantastic result! Feel free to call me @ 713 828-0048 thanks J.D.

Still not an answer in my opinion. Of course it is a converter package, but converted by whom? Not similar to a Shelby package. No one sent the car out to Shelby for the conversion.
He's not providing a straight answer.
I could convert it myself and call it a converter package. I could also say it is similar to anything I wanted.
The Shelby package is also a factory package. Is it trying to give the impression that this is a factory package?
He's avoiding a straight answer.
I also agree that it has the wrong wheels for a true Mach 1 look.

I got the same impression, he avoided the actual answer all together. His $8K list is all this stuff:

MUSTANG GT SHAKER HOOD SYSTEM,
MUSTANG GT CLASSIC CHIN SPOILER,
HONEYCOMB TAILIGHT PANEL,
FLUSH MOUNT QUARTER VENT LOUVERS,
MUSTANG WINDOW TINT,
FLOWMASTER AMERICAN THUNDER,
V-8 HURST CHROME SHIFTER,
MUSTANG SIDE SCOOPS,
MACH 1 BADGE AND STRIPES,
PAINTED HOOD AND REAR WING FLAT BLACK,
FORD MUSTANG RACING LOWERING SPRINGS,
FORD GT PUSH START BUTTON,
20X8.5 BLACK SHELBY WHEELS,
2 255/40R20 101V PROXES ST II TOYO TIRES,
2 275/40R20 106W XL PROXES ST II TOYO TIRES,
ALIGHNMENT, MOUNT BALANCE.

$7995

I have most of this stuff on my car, except the painted stuff and push start, plus some performance upgrades and it didn't cost me $8K by a long shot. I think this guy has a lot of nerve trying to make it look as if this is a legit "Package" of some kind.

But thats just my opinion... your milage may vary...

Yeah, total BS. I have around $8k on my car, and many more mods than that.

It needs the Cervini's Mach 1 package.... other than the shaker hood and the badge, I'd call it a "Mock 1"

i wouldn't even go that far. I call it trying to cash in on a legit heritage with a crappy attempt.
