Any one have experiences with the 2010 Focus? Its time to give up my gas gazzling truck for a more gas friendly vehicle. I calculated I'll be saving about 200 a month in just gas if I get something that gets 30mpg. Since Ill only buy Ford, the best thing would be a Focus. So I was just asking...How reliable are they?

Kinda sad to let my truck go but it will put my family and me in a more stable and less stressful income situation. As of right now, we have enough to support us and go have fun about every other weekend. If I could save the extra money we could use for better things like our kids future and so on.

Why not a fusion? Our 4 cylinder gets 31mpg with the AC on. We live out in the country so we don't do a lot of city driving. We average 35mph over a tank of gas. It tells you all this info on the gauges.

As for a focus, I have no idea about newer ones but my aunt has a 2005 or so and has had no major problems I know of.

I would need something that I would be able to buy with the money I sold my truck with..Focus is the cheaper and affordable choice to me.

Me and my g/f both have older foci (01-02) and we love them... get 31 MPG on the highway. Easy to find parts for. 5 speed shifts nice

I agree, Foci is the appropriate plural form of Focus.

I'm a huge Mazda fan. Keep in mind that a Mazda 3 is essentially a Focus, and a Mazda 6 is the same as a Fushion. If you are considering a different brand.

The Focus will be as reliable as well as you take care of it.

Also, the new Focus is coming out next year so a 2010 might be had for somewhat of a deal...

I just drove a ford Foci for a few says as a rental. Not sure if it was the 10 or 11 model, it only had 9,XXX miles on it. It was a really nice car. I only had a few days with it but I did like it quite a bit. Actually considered getting one if I didnt need fourwheel drive or AWD. Had a lot of options. Not a bad choice at all if considering a newer car.

I like the focus a lot. I drive a lot of different cars for work and we rarely have issues with any of the focuses. Mazda 3, Hyundai elantra or Kia forte are also good choices.
