2010 Mustang GT taillight reflector fell off...FTL.

So I am unpacking groceries with my fiance when we both notice the middle passenger side taillight reflector had fallen off inside the housing. Not sure how or why, or how the design would even allow it, but the car has 11k on the clock, is 6 months old to me, and I am taking it to the dealer in the morning to get it fixed. They better just take care of it under my B2B warranty and not charge me. Really having a moment over this one...

So the local dealer ordered me a whole new housing under warranty, just have to wait for it to come in.

Did they have a reason for them coming apart in the first place?

Got it fixed today. I had gone over a decent sized pothole a few days before it happened, that might have done it, but even then they said it was probably a manufacturing flaw because it should not have been able to dislodge.
