2010 Strut Tower brace ????

I was looking to buy a Strut tower brace for a Gt to Bolt on to my V6 really more for look then the function. The OEM GT Brace should bolt right up shouldn't it ?? Really don't know why this wouldn't work, can you folks help me out here ???

It will not, you need the V-6 brace that has has more clearance for the taller intake.
