So i just bought my 5.0, and i was wondering, can you use any other parts other than the 2011 parts. Like the 06',07', etc....

thank you!

It depends on the type of part so what are you looking for?

Most suspension parts are the same for 05-11.
Exhaust is different, engine parts such as intake are different, etc

Some of the suspension is different on the '10s and later.

Intake would def. not fit, exhaust would probably not work either. Some of the suspension parts are interchangeable, some are slightly different. Pretty much any site will tell you if they will work on both or not.

Like others have said for your basic mods, exhaust and intake are different. You can intall springs, shocks/struts, caster camber plates for an 05-10, but you need the rubber isolator piece from an 05-10 strut mount. When I did mine I didn't know that and needed to go to a ford garage to buy two new whole strut mount assemblies just to get those rubber pieces, so that was some extra money. Maximum Motorsports now makes C/C plates specifically for 2011+ stangs, but they won't work with 05-10 springs which kinda limits your options as of now. See their website for more specifics.

The only suspension that is different is front struts and strut mounts and rear upper control arm and bracket. Body parts are the same. No engine or exhaust parts will fit.
