Should I go with the steeper gears or stick with stock? How much will the 3.35's effect gas mileage and 1/4 mile times? I am guessing loose 2 MPG and 3 tenths faster in the quarter. Which for a daily driver?

True but they didn't get the v6 to have 31 mpg without research!

OP: Your numbers are probably about right. 2mpg based off of what though? :rlaugh: Knowing our lead feet and performance you won't get anywhere near 31mpg in the first place so the gearing would probably be a good option anyways...

3.73s would be perfect with the V6. I don't think Ford offers them as an option when you buy the car but you can get them after. I have 4.10 gears, 350 crank hp, 4 speed automatic and a V8 but still can get over 23mpg on the highway. With this new v6, six speed transmission and 3.73s I don't see why you couldn't get 30mpg on the highway.
