I just purchased a 2013 GT Premium 5.0 about 2 weeks ago. Love the car, it has every option I was looking for including Navigation and the Track package. As the original mufflers came with the deal I removed the Flowmaster Outlaws and reinstalled the OEM mufflers. The Outlaws had a terrible drone at cruse speeds. I just ordered a set of GT500 mufflers from LMR and should have them next week.
The issue I want to resolve is an over abundance of road & wind noise from the area of the passenger door area. I have checked the door seal and it appear to be sealing as it should. I checked it by inserting a piece of paper in all areas of the door jam and seal. At each position the seal and jam held the paper firmly. Has anyone else had this issue? If so how did you resolve it?
My last Mustang was a new 1979 V6 auto Ghia model. The GT 5.0 is head and shoulders above the '79. No comparison at all.
