I've noticed this for a long time and early in my ownership thought it was the rear calipers sticking on stops and releasing when moving away from the stop. This is at normal speeds and not hard stopping situations. I had the dealer look at it over 6 months ago and they said all was well with the rear brakes. Lately, I've noticed the transmission is kinda clunky dropping into first coming to a stop or going into first for low speed turns. I'm due for a 7500 mile check up so I believe that I will mention this then. This is with the transmission in D mode. Update: I took the car in for my 10,000 mile check and mentioned the trans situation to the service advisor. They serviced the car and checked out the trans and told me the fluid level was good so I suspect this is the `nature of the beast'. I can't complain about anything else related to the trans function. It gives me good firm up shifts and down shifts.
