Couple of questions for the Guru's here.

I have pretty much set my sights on the Whipple Stage 2 Kit and have a couple questions.

https://whipplesuperchargers.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=368

1) Anyone have any experience or opinions with/on this kit? The only S/C experience I have is with the Magnuson Charger on my boat.

2) After install this kit. What other mods need to be made to a 2017 GT Premium w/Performance Package to be able to keep it on the ground?

3) I plan to put a nice set of 1-7/8" long tube headers with the high flow cats. Suggestions on brands? Looking at Kooks or American Racing.

I'd like to keep the car as stock looking as possible.

Spring for the 10 rib upgrade, it greatly reduces belt slippage. Also get the center gauge cluster out of the ecoboost with Performance pack. It swaps out the vacuum gauge for a combo boost/vacuum gauge and it's factory and works with the my color, and best of all, it's plug n play.

Since you are in Texas, LMR sells it too.

Great Suggestion!!! It goes with my keeping it as "stock looking as possible" and is also OEM! Love Plug and Play! I have never been a big fan of cutting into factory wiring!

Also, does anyone have any experience with these cams?

Those cams are for the gt 350 heads. They physically will not fit standard coyote heads. When Ford designed the heads for the gt 350 they raised the cam centerline to incorporate the larger base circle of the cam which allowed for more lift. The cams you are interested in are specific, they only fit the gt 350 heads but are reground in the standard coyote firing order for those who want to upgrade to the gt 350 heads

If you want to upgrade your cams, lmr now sells the full line of comp cams for the gen 2 coyote, and they are cheaper than the ford racing cams.

When you posted that, actually went straight to Comp's website.

Any thoughts on this one?

That's what I was talking about. ~ 1450 is a good price, are you sure the stage 1 blower cams are the ones you want?

Nope, still in the early planning and learning stages with these Coyote motors. I think the only difference in the Stage 1 vs 2 is that Stage 1 has 130 degrees on the separation and Stage 2 has 134

There is a minimal difference in the duration.

But I chose the stage 1 cause of the RPM range.

This venture might just get tabled as of last night. Now that the new house is bought and renovations are done.

My ole lady said that a 2018 Shelby GT350 is not out of the question now. So I'm kinda thinking that might be a fun car to have!

Pushed all these mod to back burner and paid the car off instead.

So, back to square one.
