Bought a brand new 2019 mustang gt performance package 1 about 1.5 months ago and have had issues basically since the beginning. The car was purchased from Lebanon ford with whipples 36k miles warranty. Anyways just posting to see if anyone else's engine has gone bad from the whipple and if so what was the warranty process like.

What ever ended up happening? I'm still trying to decide between the Whipple or Roush kit.

I’ve heard of issues with whipples warranty’s being covered. That’s why I decided to go with the roush setup.

I decided to go that route at the last minute as well. The extra 100hp didn't seem worth the risk to me.. I've seen some pretty impressive dyno #s from the stock roush set up that puts it right with the Whipple. I also like the fact the #s and tune are only on 91.Picking mine up tomorrow

That’s the set up I’m thinking of getting. How do you like it? Any issues? Anything you would’ve done differently?

Sorry i know i haven't given an update in a real long time. But long story short i received the car back with a new motor(i had to cover all shipping costs) around the end of January and the rings didn't seat properly resulting in another oil burning motor( i also didnt have AC when i got the car back but not a big deal). I called Lebanon ford and they said they would get back to me later that day which they did and josh said "we wouldn't normally tell someone to do this but we want you to go forward with the Ford buy back program(lemon law)". So i filed for ford buy back which got approved immediately because ford motor company verified with Lebanon and then i went through about a 3 month process to get my full refund on the car because they said it would be better easier then trying to go through with a replacement. i paid $58,500 for the car and put about 3100 miles on it ford wrote me a check for $57,500 because of the mileage and i received the check about 3 weeks ago(had to pick up at a local dealer, which is also who i gave the car to). They did not refund me for any shipping or aftermarket parts(tint, black emblems, hood struts) not a huge deal but kind of annoying. I think Lebanon is making great cars i just think the first one i received was a mess up they were honestly very responsive and helpful it was just the ford buy back program and the local dealer(greenway.... lol) that was a pain in the ass. if you have any questions just ask but thats about it.
