does anyone have 20x10 & 20 x8.5 bullits from americanmuscle.com? I would like to see only this combination on a lowered mustang. I believe their offsets are:

Rear: Wheel Backspacing: 7.39" (188mm) Wheel Offset: +48mm (1.89")

Front: Wheel Backspacing: 6.25" (159mm) Wheel Offset: +38mm (1.5")

I was thinking of maybe just going 20x10 all around but I'm new to the 05+ mustang and not too sure if once it is lowered it will rub. Oh yes almost forgot, I was thinking of going with hr lowering springs ( the once that lower it the most)

Thanks guys

I have Weld Evo 20 x 9.5 up front and 20 x 10.5 out back. You can see that these wheels have a lip on them too. I've got 275 tires all round (it needs 285s on the back to be honest). There is no problem at the back and my car is lowered on Roush springs. I'd probably say stick with 8.5 on the front as the 9.5 gives a litlte excess weight and tramlining. It's not bad but I think the narrower rim would be a little better but there's no rubbing even with the 9.5.

Here is mine before the pro-kit drop....

After drop....

I have 8.5's on front and 10's on rear

Here is my car with American Muscle wheels and Toyo tires 20x8.5 (245/35) and 20x10 (295/35). No problems with the FRPP lowering springs as well.

wow, all of your cars look very nice and though I cant tell which is lowest. They all are really mean lookin' with the drop and the 20's.

dea1982 , I'm just afraid to order the tires and wheels and have them not fit properly. also should I lower it first on stock wheels, or should I get the rims then lower it? and last but not least, what springs to go with? Reason why I ask is because I called american muscle.com and they did not recoment going with a 2" drop on a 20" rim on a 2005+ mustang. what do you guys have for a drop?
thanks guys

a 2 inch drop can be done with 20's I just don't know if there are any serious rubbing problems. I've seen it done before though.

I did the Eibach Pro-kit...about 1"-1.5" drop. Perfect IMO.

Put some oversized bump stops in and get all of that 1/2" suspension travel.
I would love to get the 20" Shelby Razors and drop it about an inch.

If you are ordering through americanmuscle.com make sure you are in the 05-07 section for wheels and the offsets should all be correct. I understand you fitment concerns, but with the setup I have there is no rubbing, scraping, or hitting at all. The tires are flush with the fenders and I can turn the front wheels all the way. Are you worried about the tires and wheels going past the fender or just getting wrong sizes? For the springs I went with the Ford Racing lowering springs, which lowers the car 1.5". Hopefully the link below works so you can check them out. If you have any questions I be glad to answer them the best I can. One more thing, get the staggered look as I would not be happy if I did not get that (20x8.5 and 20x10).

Thanks dea1982 ,
I know I want the widest tires that fit properly (295's out back) and (255's front) from what you stated above. I'm still a fox body owner and familiar with them, but this is a totally different animal. I will get the wheels then the springs. Also di dyou get the camber bolts or did you just do the springs and were ok with the drop and camber?
thanks

Are these rims heavy? I am scared of the weight.
