Whats up stangnet? Does any one in here have this combination? If so how does it look. I recently purchased some 18x9 cobra r's and was wondering which tire size i should go with. I was thinking either 245/40/18 or 255/40/18. I did a search but found alot of people using 265's and up(thats more money than i want to spend). If any one can help i would greatly appreciate it.

i have had that setup 18x9 all the way around and i had 245/40's up front and 275/35's in the rear, and after looking at them for awhile the 245's were a little too small on the width since 245 is the minimum width for a 18x9 wheel.the 275's look good on the 18x9 wheel, real good.

also if money is an issue with tires i had a buddy who worked at a discount tire store and they sometimes have decent take offs with plenty of life on the tire to help get you started and they sell cheap. thats what i did because the funds were low. also you may want to look at tirerack.com for avon tech tires, i hear they are pretty good and wont kill the pocket book when you look at the 265's thru 285's.
