24lb injectors TFS Manifold Fitment Issues

Hey guys,

I was test fitting my street heat TFS upper intake manifold tonight and i'm having clearance issues with my fuel injectors.

I got these

and had to get the adapter kit shown below. There are places on the upper manifold that are bottoming out on the harness wires coming off of the injectors.

Has anyone else had this issue? And if I need different injectors, is there an equivalent to the Ford Racing ones from the link above?

I have those type of 24lb. injectors but they are the Jetronic style and require no adaptor and work perfect with my TFS Street Heat intake. You may have to use those to get the intake to clear.

Yeah if it werent for the adapters there would be no issue. The only real problem is a vacuum line fitment on the driver side bottom of the manifold. Maybe I can switch something around to fix that.

If not, I guess I will need to get jetronic style 24 lb'ers.

What a pain...
Where did you get your jetronic 24#ers from? I'm having a hard time finding any.

Looking at this chart below, will the Navigator injectors wire up correctly?

Or will these work?

The #24 Navigator injector looks exactly like the Ford Racing EV6 jetronic style injectors I have now. I bought mine @ LMRS. But I see now that they are only offering the Ford Racing EV6 uscar type.

This was the old Ford Racing #24 injector I replaced the EV6 with. They worked just fine. the only difference between the ones I have and the ones in your pic is, mine have a Ford # of F1TE-D5A.
I would believe those should work, maby someone else can confirm I am right.

as long as you have the hood clearance, this will probably be the least expensive solution, plus it will give a little extra room for the regulator, linkages, valve covers, etc. and you wont have to fool around with trying to find used injectors, and all the bs that goes with em.

An interesting option... I am leaning more towards ordering from the link above though. Hopefully LRS will allow me to return the injectors that aren't fitting.

Hi I am still going on with this... I had ordered some 93 Cobra rebuilt injectors and the guy emailed me and said he made a mistake and only had 6. But that he had some other "new style" ford rebuilt injectors and that they had a revised spray pattern and were better, basically. He said they are "Design 3".

He said they will work fine on a Fox as they have the same impedence, cc, etc.

Does anyone know for sure if these are directly interchangeable?

From the looks of them they are off of a Navigator. (See chart in post above)
