255/50/17 tires on 8s ?

I am thinnking of going with a little taller tire on stang. right now i have 245/45/17 on it and they are really noise and track. The wheels were on my 99 GT. Anyway does anyone runn the 255/50s? If so how do they ride and any pics?

i have 255/45s on my 01 Cobra 8inch rims

so yeah they will fit and they don't bulge

Attached is a pic of my BFG - G-force TA KDWS.

So far they have proved to be a good all round tire.

Those are the tires I am looking to get. Thanks for the imput. I started a thread about differnt size tires.

That was good - I walked right into that one.

So far they have helped me to a best ET of 13.26 at 106 yesterday at Pacific Raceways.

And they were round all the way.
