255/50 MT ET Streets on pony's

i just bought a set of mt et streets, and i want to put them on my pony's.

i bought a 255/50/16
my car is lowered with bbk lowering springs, about 1.5 in
how will these fit, look, will they bulge out?
anyone got any pics of 255's, especially on pony's?
i wanted a smaller tire, but thats the only size they make for a 16 in wheel i think. am i wrong?
thanks, i just want to know, what are my options before i go mounting them, and cant return them.

I'll tell you what, if you ship them to me(I'll pay for shipping), I will get them mounted on my Pony wheels, snap some pics, and send them to you. If you like the look, you can buy yourself another pair. Sound good?

Actually I wouldn't mind seeing this myself as I want to get a set. I run a 245/50 tire and I am lowered with the BBk springs. I love the stance and the tires fit great. I say mount them up and take some pics for us!

I would expect them to bulge in the sidewall. Its also a 50 series so its gonna be stout and puffy. Might not look too bad but you may expect a little less traction down the center of the tire. Ponies are only a 7" Rim. I couldnt find a better comparison list, and it doenst have your exact size but you can use your own common sense .

I have a set on my 93.

They bulge a little bit but not bad. Its dark right now but I'll snap some pics for you tomorrow so you can see how they look

Mounting and balanced for both cost me $324.00 at discount tire.

I got mine from a buddy who made maybe 2 passes and about 100 miles on them. I paid $200 and about $20 for mounting and balancing. New I believe that they are like 165-175 each.

Car is lowered about 1" in the rear.







They can get really close to the tailpipes...

Do they hook good?Also did they take away any corner carving abilitys.

The back end does "squirm" quite a bit. Mostly because the tire is wider than the wheel.

But overall they arent alot worse than regular radials.

Here they are on a set of Chrome OEM Pony's,, On this car they ran a 10.80 with the 255/50's, they way you see it the pics..

they hook great.

I was trying them out just after I put them on the car. Brand new, no burnout. Dumped the clutch from 3k and all I got was a slight chirp.
