275/40/17s on 17x8 inch wheel ???

Anybody running this combo , how much better does it hook over the 245s and are they wearing evenly and what pressure should run ???

i'm running that combo and am switchin back to 245's next time. they don't hook any better for me than the 245's did. as long as you have a good alignment they will wear evenly and i run them at i believe 30psi for everyday driving. they also rub the front fenders of my 02 GT under full lock. one thing i like about them though. THEY LOOK BADASS compared to the little 245's.

heres is a pic of my 275 on a 10.5 inch rim,vs the stock 245 on the stock rim. I wanna say that a 275 wouldn't fit on a 8 inch rim, its quite big. But I dont actually know.

no offense but this question is asked bi-daily.. lets all use the search function
275/40 is not made to fit on an 8" rim. It will pouch.. yes people have it and don't run into problems, but the tire does not sit well on the rim. The sidewalls are bent in. If you want a wide look get a wider rim out back.. its the only way to do it right.

I've never seen 275's and 245's side by side before. Man, those 245's look anorexic!!
