I rounded up a set of 66 289 cylinder heads today.

They are the kind with non rail rockers and machined slots in the head to guide the pushrods.

Are these of any value or interest? I got them because I needed a set of heads to cut up to make flycutter locating tool.

After I saw the valve train setup I decided to ask.

If these are worth saving, I will cut up some 73 or 79 leftorver 302 heads, I guess.

Thanks.

I will review my inventory one more time.

These were very inexpensive, and the first set I ever remember looking at.

The rockers also seem like a good cheap substitute for aftermarket units on guideplate heads.
