What kind of quarter mile times should I expect out of this kind of power? Have 3:73 gears and 3550 tko tranny. With slicks and fully dressed 1987 GT

If you can drive you can expect at MINIMUM a mid to high 12 sec at 107+...just a guess though...

For the average Joe, mid 12s to mid 13s. Properly set up with traction and a really good driver, high 11s.

Slicks?! I'd worry about the axles (unless you have 31 spline), but the car should run solid 12s.

just get some 28 spline mosers if need be. They held up fine to my car last year. Rated for 450 ft/lbs with the first gear as you, rear gear, and 26's.

12.6@108 if you can hook up well.

not to start a new tread but...298 rwhp in a 2800 pound car. with slicks...think a mid to low 12 is possible?

Our 292 hp in a well prepped chassis went 7.481 @ 90 in the 1/8th (high 11s) at about 3000 lbs.

A little more weight, 3.55 gears, and a street chassis the same motor went 12.17 @ 110.

going to run this week, I hope? Just bought car about 3 months ago.Got combo together and dyno tune done at MD motorsports in northern KY. I really like the 185 cc AFR heads on this car,with the x303 cam car really comes alive about 2500rpm.

Most people are gonna probably run low 13s/high 12s unless your car has drag shocks/struts/slicks etc and you know what you're doing...then 11.90-11.80s are possible. I've seen 300hp cars running 11s all day and pulling the wheels a foot off the ground, but they were purpose built racecars.

After reading everyones response I see its what I was thinking. You all have taught me well :SNSign:

I was thinking high 11s if you can drive great, mid 12s if your just ok and low 13s if you have never driven it before
