I don't believe there was a stud on my oil pan bolts when I removed them. I think they are still bagged up somewhere as I replaced with ARP.
I like an recommend that one piece oil pan gasket.
Yes that pan gasket makes life a little easier.
I did a dab in the corners, never had any leaks.Did you guys install it completely dry, or did you use RTV in the corners.
Was this stupid dance preparing us to sneeze into our elbows during Covid?I'm a dabber too.
If you have center caps, these are still cool wheels. The 79 yellow coupe on here would be perfect for these.Trying to decide what to do with these. Since LMR is making brand new replicas, will anyone really be looking for these? Or should I go get my $50 from the scrap guy?
Saying I don’t have permission to view the pictures?View media item 11237The top car is a 79 with TBird version of the rims, plus a few other later parts. I scanned both cars’ pics in together ten years ago.
You have my permission to view the pics in My Media. I will have to check settings or find the files elsewhere.Saying I don’t have permission to view the pictures?

I’m going to 5-lug....... so they’d only go on a future project, if there is one.If you like 10-holes, I'd keep two of them and order the rear two in 9-inch from LMR.
It is my understanding that basically all the aftermarket rubbers are made from the same company and they suck. They don't fit well if at all and the durability is poor. I wasted an entire day trying to get the Anchor rubber mounts to fit. I then went and bought Energy Suspension poly for $150 and they fit perfect. I don't notice any added vibration between my poly motor mounts and my dad's stock mounts. Still very smooth and I highly recommend themThis is my right side motor mount. Should I go to urethane, or stick with OE type rubber?
and important to note, I do have a rubber trans mount which does help. Our fox has poly for both and there is quite a bit more vibrations. Given the fox isn't as refined as our SN but stillIt is my understanding that basically all the aftermarket rubbers are made from the same company and they suck.
