are the MSD or Granatelli Motor Sports coils worth it? Ive seen them advertised 15hp gains and was wondering if there worth it? I have the most common of add-ons already on my 99GT

I'm gonna be the first of probably many and say no. With your mods they probably wont be worth it at all. You *might* pick up a couple HP, maybe. The factory coils seem to be up to par for just about anything. Alot of guys are running a blower on stock ignition and it does just fine.

Well I've personally seen people who had to pull of one of those brands off their car because it was giving feed back over the stereo and causing misfires. I haven't heard of anyone using the other brand yet.

thanks dark I saw those seems everyone sells them individually, I've always put FRR wires on my 5.0's and wanted to tune up the 4.6 with some better stuff

I went with the MSD and some Autolite plugs just put them in def difference alot smoother like you said at high end and noticed it in low end as well I like to run high octane and I think its burning alot better smells better from exhaust like CAM2 or VP red race fuel

But you can replace 2 or 3 Accel's for the price of 1 Motorcraft coil pack, lol.
