3:55 Gears

How the hell can you say this

You must have a numb azz?
I can even notice sotp feel between close sets like a 3.90 and a 3.73 .. although not great, it is definitely noticeable.

3.55's are a great gear and do add considerable pull to a ride.

from having 2 different aod's w/ 3.73's and they still don't break loose unless your on wet pavement. thats how, what other gear setups have you had to know the pro's and con's of all available? you know, since your asking for ones knowledge of things?

Well I've played with ...
2.73, 3.08, 3.27, 3.31, 3.55, 3.73, 4.10, 4.11 and that was the end of the line for me.
T5, T5Z, TKO, AOD, C4, 700R4, TH350, TH400, 4L60, M20, M21, M22, T10's

Of course there's a lot of GM Muscle in there.. but what the hell, it gives one a well rounded idea what works in conjunction with what and what they are stacked against.

I agree, you need gears to make up for the lose you get with a stock AOD ... but for me, not at a complete sacrifice of top end.

Yea, i totally c where your coming from, one of my buddies w/ a 93 LX has 4.10 gears and i can't c how he uses it as a daily driver. And one of my other buddies has a '99 cobra w/ 4.30 gears..huge!

I guess i'll probably just stick w/ the 3.55, and if i dislike it, i'll just get a bigger one.

LMAO your avatar is hillarious!
