That is a "strangely" low rpm even for that tire size. I'm at 2600rpm at 75mph with my 373's...I think something is off on your car or you looked at the wrong mph:)

Is this is your daily driver? I'm assuming you have a "beater vehicle"?

you sure you have 3.73? I have 4.56s and I turn around 2700 at 70ish

"4:30's in a 98(stock engine?). why do that to yourself? who are you trying to fool"

Whats that supposed to mean bro. I have seen numerous 96-98 gt owners around these types of boards running them without problems and some with autos even. Yeah I know these cars die out in the high end but who's to say that my car will remain stock..as a matter of fact i have a PI swap working its way to me now. If you said that because of cruising rpm's the car doesnt see that much 65+mph driving anyways so its all good.

Sorry but 4.30's and a blower :nono:

Forget about it, unless you plan on running slicks all the time. I have 3.73's with a blower and I can tel you there is no traction at all.

tall slicks and you would be ok. if you have a blower why would you run anything but slicks at the track  and you can run a very good set of drag radials on the street all you need too do is get 15 inch rims with some niice tall sidewall drag raidals and you will be ok.

loose the homey 17 inch rims and the lowered suspensions and you will be amazed at how well these cars can hook.

I read on another board that 4.10+ gears will make a supercharger spin up to quickly and potentially cause damage to it. I'm not sure on how true this is, but it might be something to look into before spending 5 grand on a supercharger
