What needs to be done for the C5 trans when swapping to a 302? I’ve heard some reports of it being fine and some saying to upgrade the valve body and cooler lines.
I plan to upgrade the rear end to a SN95 (with disc brakes and all; I’m aware the wheels will stick out a little more than the stock rear end). So I’m not worried about blowing up the 7.5” rear end.
The 302 will remain stock (trying for 83-85 carbed).
