Pondering picking up a set of 3.8 heads. I know ford may a million billion 3.8 cars. My question for those more knowledgeable, what (if anything) changed in the 99+ 3.8 head wise. I know they went to spilt port intake's and such, but i need to know the compatibilty (or lack there of) of other 3.8 motors.....whichi might add are in abundant supply in the jy!

You need a different fuel rail, the fuel rail need to be changed to the 99+ or a modified one I should say if your putting it on a pre 99 car....I believe someone at V6power or 3.8mustang sells them if you wanted to buy one or if you can make ityourself all the better, as far as other items needed??
