3.8 Spudders at start up, then stops?

I searched no results.

My wifes 2001, 3.8 w/ 50K runs fine, but spudders for about the first 2 minutes when started and then sounds fine. Mustang runs just fine. I just dont like sounding like a ricer when I 1st start it up.

Hard to diagnose without a better description of how it runs. Does it sound like it's missing on one or more cylinders? Is the idle lopey?
