3.8 supercharger on a 3.9 V6. Will it fit?

Im about to get a supercharger off of Craigslist removed form a 96 V6 and want to put it on my 04 V6. I am just wondering if it will fit or not?

well if the supercharger originally came off a supercoupe then it wont work without changing heads. If its a bolt on vortech, or procharger kit i dont see any reason it wont work.

idk the guy said it was made by ford?? it is a bolt on though. Here is the link to the ad.

That supercharger did not come off of a Mustang. More likely came from a T-bird supercoupe.

The two cars use different systems and the number of small parts needed to make this work is more that first meets the eye.

The fact that anyone would miss-represent the item to such an extent, should give you pause.

If you are expecting this to be a simple bolt on, you will be disappointed. So unless you are well versed in custom fab work, walk away. At the very least, do more research on what is needed to transplant a supercoupe supercharger to a Mustang.

yeah thats def a supercoupe set up. Wont do you any good, its made for the single port head design.
