3 questions - Inspections Co. | A/c kit | Drum brakes

Im looking to purchase a 1966 mustang v8 and would like to know what is the best online Classic Car Inspection company, to have a look at the car.

I also Require an A/C system for the car should i go with Vintage air or any other company. I need something the will be cold rather than authentic looking as its very hot were I live. As I just mentioned I live in a very hot and humid city almost all year long do i need to upgrade anything in the car i.e radiator

Are drum brakes adequate for braking.

Vintage Air is a great company that makes nice products. Hard to go wrong there. Early Mustang radiators are borderline at best, even with a stock engine. Mine still has a stock-style radiator and it does OK, but I live in a cooler climate. If I lived in a warmer are, I think I'd go for a larger aluminum unit. Are the drum brakes in good working order? If the shoes are good and there are no leaks, drum brakes work well enough for mild street use, just don't plan on tailgating on the freeway or charging into hairpin corners. Drum brakes don't stop particularly straight or well if you don't stay on top of the adjustments, but I've seen more than one 10 second car at the drags still using drums.

If your car is going to be daily driver disc brakes is the only way to go. Every other car on the road has disc brakes and they drive like you do to.

I have to agree that unless you drive it hard, the drum drakes will be just fine in city driving, they have the same swept area as discs, the real problem people have is they are used to power boost in their "modern" car. This changes the feel completely, and can cost a fraction of disc conversion.
