I dont have a use for one now that I rarely go shooting since my buddy sold his acreage. But if I lived on some land in BFE TX with water moccasins, I would have one for a fun pastime. Used to try to hit their heads poking out of the water with my Benjamin Sheridan as a kid when I lived in North TX.

Well, i have five or six shotguns around here.. they just aren't handy to carry with a handful of tools. That's why the 40 got stuck in my waistband.

.... but i think my next pistol is going to be a Glock.

I think he was having fitting issues with the new clips
That is what the problem is. Besides that they have to roll in over the stud head, and there is alot of built-in spring tension into that new clip. By the time you get it rolled over, then get two screw drivers positioned on the clip to give it a bump, the thing is just begging to fck things up. I installed the entire perimeter of the front and back glass with the old ones in about 10 minutes, and spent the next 15 trying to install just one of the new ones.

Sometimes it's best to take the hint.

It's moot anyway. Thanks Mr. Texas (Allen) for slogging through the back 40 and gettin me the ones I need.
