So I've been away from the mustang scene for years now since I've been in the Army, but this summer I have time off and money to burn, so I want to build a 393/TKO 600 set up. I was thinking all forged internals in an older block, Victor Jr. heads, (hoping to re-use my TFS stage 1 cam), and some long tubes.

I'll post more questions later, as I've gotta go now, but...

can i use my existing harness for a 351W?

What are you guys' thoughts, those of you who are more current on what's out there?

harness works.

don't use that TFS stage 1 cam, you will be disappointed

+1 vote for a custom cam,

seems to be the best route almost 90% of the time

well i think i just got a handle on some used Victor Jr's, so that's a start...

and I realized that he TFS stage 1 was gonna have to go real quick. But I'm thinking Victor 5.0 intake, as i said, all forged 393 into a TKO 600(with related bell, clutch, shifter)... some motor mounts, swap pan, BBK 79-93 351W swap LT headers?, a new DS, sub-frames, lower control arms, bigger injectors and a chip.

anything I'm forgetting? (besides a distributor)

BlackVert, what kind of numbers are you making?

You need the Victor 5.8 intake instead of the 5.0.

If your spending money on a intake, check out the Spyder.

yeah, i guess the victor 5.0 wouldn't fair very well in this application... my bad.
