302 motor which cam

i want to get a cam for a motor im buying its a 302 which cam e or f is a f cam to much for what i got it suppose to have ported stock heads which cam to get

Alot of work for 10HP...most common phrase of all time by mustang sellers "The heads are stock but ported"...truth usually is they have never been off..sorry but very true. Save your pennies and upgrade the heads before wasting cash on a bumpstick that could very likely offer you little return due to head restrictions and drivability issues...just for the lope?...not worth it at this point IMO.

I agree with dman302, you always cant go by what someone says like i did. I bought a 88 coupe from this guy and it had gt40 heads on it and he said they were ported and polished but they weren't. I found this out after i blew my head gasket and took off the heads. I would get a good set of heads then go from there.

or take the heads off and look at em, and port some more, or get aftermarket heads.
