315 on an 8" rim

hey guys i am asking a dumb questioni know..but i want to know if a 315 can be put on an eight inch rim. i got some chrom bullitts in trade for my charcoal ones..but they are only 17X8" and have no tires i am keeping my tires but the ones i have are 245/45 on front and 315/35 on back. is it possible to get this on an eight inch rims until i get the 10.5's in or do i absolutely have to buy new tires??

They wouldn't fit on my 10" wide rims, so 8"...come on...

315 is a 12.3 inch wide tire... so no it wont fit on an 8 inch rim. I believe there are a few people running 315s on 10.5 inch rims...but you should really have 11 inch rims to run 315s.

The biggest youre gonna fit on a 8" wheel would be a 275 tire. I would go with a 275 nitto as they run a bit smaller, which means it would fit better.

i'm running a 17x8 wheel and currently have a 315/35/17 all you'll need is some fender rolling!!

Sidewall flex doesn't make it unstable? I had 275's on 9 inch wheels and you could feel the roll in turns.
