315 tire on 18X9 Wheel?

Is it possible to fit a 315 tire on a 18X9 Wheel?
Please let me know thanks.

Yes, 315s fit on a 9 inch wheel.

315's will fit but I think they are just a little to wide for our cars... I think a 295 or 305 will look a lot better.

i believe the 335s are cheaper if you can swing the wider rims...cause you can get viper tires.
still NOT cheap

great IMO

i prefer some sidewall to protect lip, but that is just me.

FWIW, the minimum size rim for a 315 is 10.5" (BFG G-force KD). You would be wasting your money putting a 315 on a 9" rim. Go to www.tirerack.com and look at the tire specs to get facts rather than opinions.

Viper tires are good, but remember that the Viper has 13" wide rims. You will not get the same fit on a 9.5" rim. On a 9.5" rim, you will have tread protecting your rim as well.

i have 285s on my 18x9s and i think they are the widest you should go on a 9" rim.

Are they 285's in your garage pics? What are they 35 or 40's? They look good

I have 295 on an 18X9 the sidewalls curve in more probably because i have the 30 sidewall but i think it looks good.

When people put large tires on, its usually for looks not performance. Theres nothing wrong with putting 315s on a 9 inch wheel.
