325's mounted on 15" welds for a SN-95

Hello all, I have sort of a loaded question here that I REALLY need some help with.
I would like to run a 15x10 weld prostar on the back of my sn-95 and be able to run a 325x50x15 Mickey thompson Drag radial. What I need to know is What is the PROPER backspacing for this application. I have read 6.5" is proper for the application BUT most are only running a 275 or a 295 tire. I feel that by running a 325 tire I may need to go with 5.5" backspacing in order to get these tires to fit. I don't mind the wheel sticking out a "bit" as I already run 315x35x17 tires in the rear, and like the look... however I Do not what them to stick WAY out... ya know? Thanks for any assistance you can provide! :bang:

I had heard that the Pro Stars would not clear the cobra brakes, and to go with the XP's for the SN-95 cars. Wi Stang, how much boost are you running and what did your car put down for numbers just curious? I might be going with the trick flow h/c/i for some street reliability and not having to piece anything together.

I am running about 10 PSI of boost. I have the normal Vortech pulleys that came with the kit, and an AFM Power Pipe. The last time I went to the dyno I put down 497 rwhp, and 484 ftlbs of torque. That was at about 18* of total timing with the meth kit. I have added a couple degrees of timing since then, so I suspect I would be over 500 rwhp right now. I will be headed to the dyno again in about a month to see.

Yeah, I was really happy with the kit. about the only thing extra I did was use a Cometic head gasket instead of the ones in the kit, and I bought some new lifters. Oh yeah, and I needed a 3/8" spacer so that the intake would clear the valve covers. If I remember right it was the EGR opening on the adapter elbow that was hitting the valve cover without the spacer.
