i'm sorry i don't have a 331 stroker but i was reading about comp cams 5.0L stroker cams. here is a link and i would give them a call and ask them about them.
http://www.compcams.com/technical/Catalogs/106-07/72-75_230.pdf
they are called XFI cams. seems like huge lifts. would have to have heads that could take it.

well the first cam would probably work for you then. kinda neat they made cams specidically for stroker motors. better then running what everyone else does in there 302's i would say.

2600 is to high? well i guess on the street shifting at 3000 is pretty common. The other thing i would do if i was you is i would call AFR. they have a shop that custom grinds cams for there heads. Talk to the tech guys there they will put you in contact with the guys they use to grind cams and have a custom cam ground specifically for your combo. Thats a way better idea then buying a generic cam from anyone.
